August 3, 2008 Last night in Indianapolis, Jake Crist successfully defended his HWA Heavyweight Title for the very first time as part of Insanity Pro Wrestling's 7th Anniversary Extravaganza, Reign of the Insane. Jake was originally scheduled to defend his title against Crist Brother rival, "Luscious" Louis Linaris, in a Last Man Standing Match. Due to medical reasons, Linaris was forced to pull out of the match. Jake would instead battle Apollo Starr and Vincent Nothing in a Three Way Dance for the HWA Heavyweight Title. Jake was able to overcome the odds and now is looking towards his next title defense at HWA Road To Destiny. But the question remains, who will get the shot at the HWA Heavyweight Title at HWA Road To Destiny on August 30th?
